West Wales Girls League

WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE FOR THE WWW&GL

For too long football has been seen as a sport for men and boys and the girls have been missing out. This has now become a thing of the past. More and more girls are becoming involved in football in the West Wales area.

The West Wales Women and Girls League is going from strength to strength and there are now more than 500 girls registered and playing on a weekly basis. Hopefully this number will increase in the coming years. There are currently 4 junior age groups:- Under 9's, Under 11's, Under 13's and Under 15's as well as the ladies league. Please see the team directory for teams in your area.

The improving standard of girls' football has also ensured that there are opportunities for girls to continue playing once they leave school.
